Education

I am currently taking Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English as third year student at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas. graduated from Imus Pilot Elementary School and General Emilio Aguinaldo National High School. I was a consistent honor student when I was in elementary. I was also a consistent member of the first section. I believe I have a good academic standing which made me stay in the first section. I was part of the journalism class and the student government both high school and elementary. Now that I am in college, I still maintain my good grades in order for me to avail the scholarship of my school.

Experience

- I have experienced tutoring my other classmates when it comes to English subjects and also professional education subjects (Prof. Ed subjects are those taken by Education students only). I have also experienced teaching grade 5 students about disaster management as part of our NSTP requirement. - I do not have much test scores to show but one of the standardized tests i have taken is the Test of English for International Communication or the TOIEC exam which I scored 890 points. I also top my major exams in some of my subjects :) - As an English major, language and literature are the subjects which I am currently learning, but some of the subjects that I have already taken are the Afro-Asian Lit, Mythology, English American Lit, Introduction to Linguistics and Structure of English. I believe that these subjects that I have taken are one of the most important subjects that should be taught at an early age for the learners to tune in with the new curriculum. - Although this may not be relevant to the tutoring process, I am also a student leader. I was part of the student government back in my elementary and high school days. I am also the class president in the present class im in at DLSUD. This experience, hone my communications skills which I believe is very helpful in my future teaching career. - I was part of the journalism club when I was elementary as a feature writer, and then a broadcaster and a news writer when I was in high school. - I have been a dean's lister in my first semester when I was in second year and I also have a good academic standing for having a consistent 3.0 and above GPA (pls refer to the DLSUD grading equivalents) - I am a proud scholar of DLSUD, and I have been their scholar for about 2 and a half years already. The student assistance scholarship of my school really helped me become more responsible when it comes to my grades because I have to maintain a 2.75 and above GPA for me to stay in the scholarship program So why do I want to become a tutor? - well, first of all, I want to earn money as much as possible because I observed that as my graduating year comes, the amount that we have to pay are getting bigger and bigger and I need to do something about that and the benefit that I will be getting from the tutoring experience will be used on my personal necessities. Lastly, I believe that engaging myself into this will really enrich my skills as a teacher. Tutoring maybe a lot different from classroom teaching but I believe that it can help me to become more equipped as teacher when it comes to understanding your students' individual differences and I also believe that it s going to be fun :)

Hobbies

- Although I am a teacher in the making, I am not the serious and quiet type of person. I am actually bubbly and cheerful type of person. I am sometimes referred to as the clown or joker of the classroom because I really want to make people laugh and smile but even though I am like that, I am not so loud and noisy, I just know how to adjust and adapt with the environment that I am in. - I personally feel like I was really born to be an actor, because I can sing, act, and dance. Although I am not that outstanding on those three but I can. I really like performing although I really am the negative and nervous type of person in stage. In my free time, sometimes i just slack myself on the bed and watch movies, or even play online games the whole day, when I have FREE time :) - I hope you liked my bio, I really worked hard on this :) - you can contact me in my mobile number, it is 09174602015
